the Archangel Gabriel: Death
1. Don't have one
2. Oh, I'm getting up there, certainly. I remember the stars being born; how's that?
3. Single
4. Keeps changing. Right now I'm fond of The Ten Commandments.
5. 'Oh When the Saints Go Marching In' is high on my list.
6. Ironically, I quite like The Temptations
7. Clean
8. My name is branded on the side of my neck

1. Indeed. And a pleasure it is.
2. I like what Christ said-- 'Do unto others....'
3. If my Boss said it was cool
4. *thinks* I might. If it was something that would cause you great pain, and not any chance of an accompanying healing with it... But I would never lie to you.
5. Much as I've enjoyed our heart-to-heart, I think the faro wins out. *grins*
6. Doubt mine'd do you much good, John
7. It takes me two flights to reach Heaven. (Michael can do it in one.)
8. What else are friends for?
9. If we go get those peaches from Georgia, sure
10. Can't say I have
11. Of course not, John
12. An honorable and just man, living with integrity... yes.
13. Of course
14. *tilts head to the side and regards John* Yes. Both inside and out.
15. I'd have liked to have let you had a little more joy of your life
16. Don't sleep
17. Anytime. We'll play cards.
18. *smiles* Sure. That'd be an interesting date.
19. Maybe go for a visit to the South, if you wanted to. Go on a boat, if you like boats. There's a peace about the ocean I appreciate-- it reminds me of the quiet of this place before He brought the land forth. And of course, we would play cards.

sorry. I forgot the first part...
2) The very stars! *smiles, and again is all wonder he has the opportunity to hear such things**
4) Perhaps I will try to induce someone to watch it then, not that they didn't have the opportunity at Easter! *frowns sternly into the background*
5) Why you will have to play it for me, perhaps. It was not yet written.
6) *laughs*

2) *looks thoughtful and resolves to discuss this elsewhere*
3) Of course.
4) This is a strange question, since you know so very much. But if it would hurt me, I would like to think you would tell me, to give me the chance to face it with dignity, and to be proud. I am glad you would never lie to me.
5) Why we must play again then! *smiles!*
7) *wonders wonderingly how one could rest between flights*
10) *looks mightily relieved*
12) Thank you. Again, more than I can say.
13) You can drive then, for I cannot. It will be great!
14) *is not sure what to say, as he looks down at his nearly skeletal form in its fine clothes* I was handsome once, but... But I thank you, and am glad you see it in me.
15) But I... "Had a treasure. Beyond most mortal comprehension..., even if it caused (me) pain." It was worth it.
17) Wonderful! Perhaps we could make a cake also. That will be... funny.
18) *smiles and starts to think* I have not had a date since... Atlanta.
8/19) Ah, Gabriel! *His relief is nearly a glad internal shout, as he is struck with a sudden thought.* It is not hypothetical! When I am ill, when it is my last day on earht, when I die, as I surely shall, it will be you who will look after me, and it will be You, my friend, who sees me to the farther shore (and perhaps we will take a boat, and play cards, for I have never been on a boat.) And I will not die alone in that distant hotel in Colorado, for there will be one friend to whom I could not be a burden. No wonder my last words were, 'This is funny.'

the Archangel Gabriel: Perched angel
2) I'll have to, tell you about it sometime.

5) Anytime. It's a nice song.

7) It's kinda peaceful, actually. Very quiet, out there in spaces between this earth and the Silver City. Occasionally one can hear music.

13) Excellent. *fixes up his 1966 Lincoln*

14) *taps his own face right below his eyes* These aren't strictly bound by time or the here and now. *smiles*

18) Sonuvagun, we gotta get you out of the house then. *straight face, save a slight lip-twitch*

19) A boat would be a good way to make the crossing. Hermes'll probably give me his usual 'way-to-steal-our-ideas' speech, but, eh. Kids. What are you gonna do....

2 and perhaps 7) I am sure it is a beautiful story, and I would very much like to hear it. The Music of the Spheres. Perhaps we can play Holst's 'Planets,' if it will not detract.
5) Maybe on your trumpet. *smiles*
13) Brilliant! We'll sing on the way! *begins packing a small trunk*
18) I know! How about a road trip? Maybe we can stop at some hotel and bake a cake.
19) *just beams, excited, thinking of all the fun, and placing his relief reverently away to comfort him when he needs it*

2. 30. Immortal years I’d rather not get into.
3. Widower.
4. The 13 th Warrior.
5. Depends on my mood.
6. C.C.R. Bruce Springsteen. Cold Chisel. Bjork.
7. In a fight? Or personal hygiene?
8. I sport a tattoo of a Helm of Awe the type called Vegvisir on my right shoulder. It is a Norse signpost of sorts. It insures the wearer will never lose their way, even in storms or bad weather.

1. Ah…?
2. “Get the hell out of my way”
3. No. I take care of myself. Of course if you happen to be a very good friend, of which I have few, then yes.
4. If I was getting paid an obscene amount to do so, yes.
5. There is none.
6. I’m rather fond of the two I have, but if you want one why not.
7. I used to be a pearl diver once.
8. No.

13. Do not care either way.

15. The moustache, get rid of it. It’s so nineteenth century and does nothing for you.
16. Depends.
17. Depends.

19. Do you like sailing?
20. Already have.

1.Your Middle Name: Johannes
2. Age: Unknown. (seriously I can't remember. I CAN work it out over time I suppose)
3. Single or Taken: Single.
4. Favorite Movie: This time I think I'll answer "V for Vendetta". It varies. A lot.
5. Favorite Song: At the moment: David J - This Vicious Cabaret (from "V for Vendetta" graphic novel)
6. Favorite Band/Artist: Delerium usually. I'm quite fond of some of King Henry VIII's attributions as well.
7. Dirty or Clean: Depends on context.
8. Tattoos and/or Piercings: I have none. Sometimes I find them esthetically pleasing if done with art.

1. Do we know each other outside of LJ? Very unlikely.
2. Whats your philosophy on life? Life is good. It's up to us to learn to enjoy it. Making and building is a basic part of the goodness in life.
3. Would you have my back in a fight? Yes.
4. Would you keep a secret from me if you thought it was in my best interest? No.
5. What is your favorite memory of us? At this point, I am enjoying this writing but returning little. This may change. So I'm going to wager a guess that my favorite memory is yet to happen.
6. Would you give me a kidney? I don't think you'd need it anymore.
7. Tell me one odd/interesting fact about you: I was raised to be a knight but lack the culture within which such would make sense.
8. Would you take care of me when I'm sick? If we were to share corporal existance simultaneously - yes.
9. Can we get together and make a cake? That might be interesting.
10. Have you heard any rumors of me lately? I've heard of a tale on the "V for Vendetta" fanfiction involving a memory of you perhaps.... I haven't looked for the tale myself though.
11. Do you/have you talk(ed) crap about me? No.
12. Do you think I'm a good person? Yes.
13. Would you drive across country with me? Again, that would be interesting. Sure.
14. Do you think I'm attractive? Not for me to wager on a gentleman.
15. If you could change anything about me, would you? No. The past is rarely worth changing and the present is as it is. The future is of infinite possibility and it is of our free will we choose - so no I would not change anything.
16. What do you wear to sleep? Depends on the company.
17. Would you come over for no reason just to hang out? Someday.
18. Would you go on a date with me if I asked you? Not likely. Wrong gender.
19. If I only had one day to live, what would we do together? I like the idea of travel. Not sure.
20. Will you repost this so I can fill it out for you? Not at this time - but that may eventually change.

*smiles and politely tips his hat*
Welcome, sir!
4-6) well, in truth, I was to ask these questions, but I scarcely know what a 'movie' is, and as for songs and artists, I don't recognise anything anyone has written as answers thus far. Was King Henry VIII an artist, sir? It is the first I have heard of it, but naturally I am interested.
5) Well, I do sincerely thank you very kindly for reading.
7) *wryly* Yes, I know the feeling well. I endeavoured to be a knight anyway, but times are different for you, it would appear. "Genius is present in every age, but the men carrying it within them remain benumbed unless extraordinary events occur to heat up and melt the mass so that it flows forth." Diderot, sir.
10) Oh my. I do hope it was vaguely accurate. *sighs* Actually, I am infamous.
15) Bravo! I surely concur!
19) I like the idea of travel as well.

King Henry VIII is most famous for the melody "Greensleeves" but there were many others he was attributed with. Whether he wrote them or not is largely an open question - history suggests that he could have though. Greensleeves is also attributed to a bard at the time whose name slips me at the moment....

7 - I shall seek some Diderot, sir. That is an inspiring thought for one who wouldn't mind encouraging things a little.

19 - There is much in (and out of) this world worth seeing. May one always have time to explore!
